Infographic: Where credit card delinquencies are highest

When it comes to paying off credit card debt, Washington County is falling behind.

Credit card delinquencies are higher in that Utah Dixie county than anywhere else in the state, according to a recent county-by-county report released by InsideARM.com, with nearly 20 percent of all credit card balances more than 90 days delinquent.

The delinquency rates are better along the Wasatch Front. However, about 1 in 10 credit card balances in Salt Lake and Utah counties is still 90-plus days overdue.

On the other side of the spectrum, scenic Wasatch County seems to be faring pretty well financially. It boasts the Beehive State’s best delinquency rate of just 5.13 percent. Box Elder County isn’t far behind with 5.76 percent.
